General Decay of a Nonlinear Viscoelastic Wave Equation with Balakrishnân-Taylor Damping and a Delay Involving Variable Exponents

This paper was aimed at investigating the stability of following viscoelastic problem with Balakrishnân-Taylor damping and variable-exponent nonlinear time delay term u t ? M open="?" close="?"> ? 2 ? + ? ? 0 g s d ? 1 open="|" close="|"> p . ? = in ? × ? , where id="M2"> is a bounded domain id="M3"> n , id="M4"> : ¯ ? measurable function, id="M5"> > memory kernel that decays exponentially, id="M6"> ? potential, id="M7"> a b ? d x for some constants id="M8"> id="M9"> id="M10"> . Under assumptions on relaxation we use suitable Lyapunov functionals to derive general decay estimate energy. The considered novel meaningful because presence flutter panel equation spillover including control. Our result generalizes improves previous conclusion in literature.
